God of War Ragnarok Rom is a video game developed by Santa Monica Studios and Sony Entertainment. Released worldwide on November 9, 2022, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, it is the first officially licensed game in the God of War series. It is the sixth episode of the series, the sixth season, and a sequel to the 2018 film God of War. Based on ancient Norse mythology, the film follows Kratos and his teenage son, Atreus. The ending, based on Norse myths, alludes to Ragnarök, an event central to Norse mythology and foretold in the first game when Kratos slew the god Baledur’sir.
