Chained Echoes from the SNES and PSX era, add magic, add mechs, and think of those old games as you remember them, not as they really are. And you’ll have Chained Echoes for Nintendo Switch.
The story begins with Glenn and Killian. Glenn is a famous pilot of giant mechs, a member of one of the three warring kingdoms, assigned to a seemingly suicidal mission to end the war once and for all. But things don’t go as planned, and Glenn is left only with memories and regrets. The three kingdoms reach a peace agreement, and the story continues at the Peace Festival in the luxurious city of Fan Sport. However, not everyone is happy with this supposed peace, especially with the way it was achieved. And your adventure begins here.
But it’s not real either, and it ends up being a dream, and you wake up on a warship, ready to invade enemy territory. Just like Final Fantasy VII, the game throws you straight into the action and plot, without wasting time. This is just one of many main characters, but I appreciate that you explore this situation and have the opportunity to understand the character more deeply, rather than just receiving information about him.
