About This Game
Using the Citra 3DS emulator, you can play Pokémon Omega Ruby Rom and experience the Hoenn region in a new way. Released in 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS, the game is an exact replica of the original Pokémon Ruby for the Game Boy Advance. Gameplay has been enhanced with the transition to 3D.
The journey through Hoenn feels familiar. In each town you visit on your way to the Pokémon League, you’ll face off against Gym Leaders. But when Team Magma appears with a plan to awaken Groudon and reshape the land, the situation quickly becomes dangerous. Improvements to the battle system, exploration, and additional activities like contests make it feel like you’re retreading an old adventure, only with many more secrets to uncover.
The improved graphics aren’t the only new features in the game. Mega Evolutions change the dynamics of battles, the Hoenn Pokédex expands, and Groudon and Kyogre gain a new, intriguing ability from Primal Polymorph. With Latios by your side, you can soar above Hoenn to reach secret Mirage Locations, making exploration even more exciting. “Contest Spectacle” brings back beloved elements like Pokémon Contests, while “Episode Delta” introduces a new storyline with even higher stakes. The Battle Resort will present a new challenge for Trainers eager to demonstrate their abilities.
Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo, Omega Ruby features an anime style and the popular turn-based RPG format of capturing, training, and battling Pokémon.
