Pokemon Adventure Red Chapter is a GBA ROM Hack by Aethestode based on Pokemon FireRed. It was last updated on October 25, 2020.

This hack follows the events of the Pokémon Adventures Manga with added plots, which tends to make the game more violent and brutal than normal Pokémon games. Several characters from the anime also appear, such as Ash Ketchum, Delia Ketchum, Officer Jenny, Nurse Joy, Professor Ivy, Jessie, James, Meowth, and Butch. The gym leaders from the Orange Islands also appear, now working for Team Rocket. The game won third place in the PokeCommunity Hack of the Year contest in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Important
It is recommended to start a new game with Beta 15.
Some emulators seem to have trouble playing this game. VisualBoyAdvance (VBA, not VBA-m) for Windows and MyBoy! for Android seems to work well.

This will be the final major update for Red Chapter Vol 1. Any future updates will be strictly on squashing game-breaking bugs. Vol 2 is under development.

A: The rom hack will not be updated anymore. There will be a continuation in the form of volume 2, but that will be a PC fangame.
Q: What emulator works best with this rom hack?
A: For Android, MyBoy seems to be working perfectly. For Windows, Visual Boy Advance is recommended.
Q: How far does this hack go?
A: It ends a bit after Orange Islands. It’ll be continued in the form of Vol. 2 which will be a RPGXP Fangame
